Sellers organizing inside MDS urged Amazon merchants to switch off advertising on April 15 to protest a payment policy change.

Modern Retail reports that members of MDS planned to switch off Amazon advertising on April 15 to protest Amazon's move to deduct ad costs from seller earnings instead of charging a card. Organizers said that change, plus delayed payouts, a fuel surcharge and higher fulfillment fees, could squeeze seller cash. A consultant warned the boycott could cost sellers rankings and market share, while Amazon said the changes bring a small group of sellers in line with common practice.
This is where the Save Our Sellers story starts: sellers in the MDS community organized a one-day ad pause to push back on changes that put pressure on their cash flow.
This is going to show them that sellers can unite against these changes.
